When we founded Mosaic in 2014, our goal was to establish multi-material 3D printing as the new industry standard. We’ve come a long way since the early days of our Kickstarter campaign; shipping the first Palettes in 2016; Palette+ in 2017; and Palette 2/2Pro, CANVAS, and CANVAS Hub in 2018.
If you’re familiar with the evolution of our product line, you’ll notice a few trends. With each new product release, we’ve focused on improving reliability, a better user experience, and a more accessible price point. We believe these aspects are essential to establish multi-material as the standard in FFF 3D printing across the industry. These areas have been the main focus of our development, manufacturing, and sales efforts since we started on this path.
We’re incredibly lucky to have grown so much over the past 12 months. Since November 2018, we’ve shipped thousands of Palette 2 & Palette 2 Pro units and our community of users has grown by over 5x during this time.
With this growth, we’re now in a position where we can make a few changes to better align our offerings with our long-term goal.
As of today, we’re introducing special pricing across all units in our product line: Palette 2, Palette 2 Pro, and CANVAS Hub.
Palette 2 will retail for $499 ($100 off $599)
Palette 2 Pro will retail for $699 ($100 off $799)
CANVAS Hub will retail for $59 ($20 off $79)
Additionally, we want you to know that any and all Palette 2 or Palette 2 Pro units purchased will be upgradeable to the next iteration of Palette, which will be released in late 2019.
With this change, we’re aiming to make our technology more accessible for more people across the globe, and taking a step closer to our mission of establishing multi-material 3D printing as the new standard for FFF.
